Easy Summer BBQ Sides

My first recipe is not really a recipe at all! Just an easy side dish that you can just pop in the microwave! VeeTee rice has become a staple in my home when I want to make a side of rice! Microwave: Poke several holes into the film and place into the microwave for 2 minutes.
Microwave Oven: Time varies adjust accordingly. Peel back film, fluff in tray and check the product is hot before serving.
Alternatively stir in vegetable oil for two minutes. Do not reheat.
I absolutely love southwest salad. when it comes to salad it is first choice. Especially if I am on the go. Most fast food places sell southwest salad. believe it or not Mc. Donalds was the first place I ever had it. Ever since then I've been hooked. Now its one of my favorite salads to make at home. its also a hit at family dinners and barbecues. it's basically a taco salad ! Who doesn't love tacos! Below is a super easy southwest salad recipe! 1 pack of Lettuce (green leaf or romaine)
1 bag of tortilla chips (for salad) (texas toast brand)
1 cup of corn
1 can or cup of black beans
2 whole vine ripe tomatoes
2 green chilis 1 cup of Mexican Cheese
4 Mexican sweet peppers
Southwest dressing (hidden valley) or (whomever)
Cut up lettuce and literally combine all if the ingredients into a bowl. You can use store bought black bean corn salsa or make your own.
Fruit Salad is my absolute favorite snack. Whenever I want something sweet, fruit salad is my go to. It's super easy to make and serves as a healthy desert alternative.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Mixed Fruit salad 2 Apples Handful of Grapes 2 Mango 1 container of strawberries 1 pineapple Raw organic Honey 1/2 of a Lime
Cut up fruit into small pieces and place into a bowl. Cut a pineapple in half. Save half of the pineapple to juice in the juicer. Cut a lime in half for the juicer as well. take 1 table spoon of raw organic honey and melt it in the microwave. Then pour the honey and pine apple juice into the bowl with the fruit.
